LEVEL CHECK & NEW TEXTBOOK

Yesterday, I went to my English school. First I got a feed back of my level check. I was pointed out my weak point and it was still "the article", "the singular and the plural" and "preposition". A counselor told me to practice and practice because these English usage isn't the same as Japanese. So there is no way to master easily. Anyway I got a trial lesson a new textbook "Market Leader Pre-intermediate". It's not an original school textbook but an ordinary textbook. I thought this textbook is for a debate about many topics. I already used this kind of textbook in my orevious English school. Anyway a difficulty of this textbook is higher so it's good for me. However I want to learn business English, so finaly I decided to use the original material. If I have a chance I'll buy that well-known texbook and study at my house. From wednesday I start a business English ! I don't waste my money so I should study harder.

I finished LEVEL4

Today I took a LEVEL check. I think I improved my ability through this LEVEL so I satisfied with this several months. However my listening skill doesn’t so improved and I think it’s my weak point. For me, speaking speed of this chapter was very slow, so I want to try to use an upper grade text. Anyway now I have to decide my next text book and I consider I’ll start a business English text book. In last lesson I tried business text book and I felt it was more difficult because vocabulary isn’t familiar and speaking speed is faster. So if I use this text book, I have to prepare much! But I’ll be able to enjoy it! In next lesson I’ll take a counseling and chose my text book. But there are many choices. Now There are about 90 lessons remained so I’ll study harder, because this maybe my last chance to go to an English school. If I had a lot of time and money I would have practiced pronunciation and studied business writing.

Chapter 7 LEVEL 4

Today I learned about “errands” and “chores”, and at last I could understand the difference between “errands” and “chores”. Also I practiced causative sentences. Maybe I gradually used to speak. Today we talk about our real errands or chores. I think topics itself weren’t difficult. Then I learned “making excuse”. Generally we make excused when we tell a lie. Anyway recently I have a long free talk time, but I can’t speak fluently. Still I can’t make a story in English well. So I should do a free discussion over thirty minutes. I think I should have more opportunities talk in English. In the future I’ll go abroad and try!

Chapter 7 LEVEL4

Today, my lesson was about “errands and chores”. However I haven’t used this word so first I couldn’t understand the meanings. “Errand” means an oral message entrusted to a person or a short trip taken to attend to some business often for another (was on an errand for his mother). For example errands are housework such as cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. “Chore ” means the regular or daily light work of a household or farm. For me it was difficult what is errands or not because I haven’t used to use this expression. Today I also learned a causative verb(have, get, let) again. I think it’s difficult to use at conversation, because I can’t order something in English yet. So first I should use this expression on writing.
